I've spent more than 20 years as a professional photographer, photographing landscapes, oceans, wildlife, storms, and incredible destinations around the world.
A private workshop gives you five days of personalized 1-on-1 photography instruction without the limitations of a group itinerary.
We'll concentrate on the areas of photography you want to improve while photographing incredible locations during the best available light.
And most importantly, we'll stay flexible.
If weather changes, better light develops somewhere else, or Mother Nature gives us an unexpected opportunity, we change the plan and chase the photography.

In February 2026, I created a customized 17-day private photography experience through Hawaii for Gonzalo and his wife Andrea, who traveled from South America.
Together, we photographed Oahu, Kauai, Maui, and the Big Island, adjusting our itinerary around the weather, light, and photographic opportunities each island gave us.

Your private workshop includes:

- My airfare to and from the destination
- My meals during the workshop
- Flexibility to chase the best weather, light, and conditions
LODGING & TRANSPORTATION
Because every destination is different, lodging and ground transportation are separate from the workshop fee.
The client is responsible for their own travel expenses, my lodging, and the rental vehicle/ground transportation and associated expenses required for the workshop.
I cover my own airfare and meals.
We'll discuss all expected expenses before anything is booked so everything is clear upfront.
