For many years I always wanted to capture an image of a lone aspen tree surrounded by pine trees. Being that aspen trees are the largest organism in the world, it’s hard to find just one by itself. After three years of shooting the Fall colors around Colorado, I finally struck gold. On this morning, I was driving Red Mountain Pass/Million Dollar Hwy between Ouray and Silverton, CO. I looked out towards the mountain off to my right side and there it was: "The Chosen One". A photo of a single aspen encompassed by a vast, pine tree landscape, now available for sale.
