PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP TERMS & CONDITIONS
Welcome to Nick Selway Photography LLC. We’re excited to have you join us for an unforgettable photography experience. Before registering for a workshop, please carefully review the following terms and conditions.
WORKSHOP PARTICIPATION
By registering for a Nick Selway Photography workshop, you agree to participate in the workshop, photography tour, or related experience listed on your registration.
Our workshops may include outdoor photography sessions, sunrise and sunset shoots, driving to photography locations, walking or hiking on uneven terrain, and exposure to changing weather and environmental conditions.
Workshop schedules, shooting locations, and activities may change based on weather, road conditions, safety concerns, access restrictions, photography conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control.
PAYMENT
A 50% deposit is required at the time of registration to reserve your spot.
The remaining balance must be paid in full 90 days before the workshop start date.
Your reservation is not considered fully confirmed until all required payments have been received.
CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
If you cancel more than 90 days before the workshop start date, payments made may be refunded or transferred toward another Nick Selway Photography workshop.
If you cancel within 90 days of the workshop start date, payments are non-refundable unless we are able to fill your spot with another participant.
Because workshop arrangements and expenses are made well in advance, exceptions cannot be guaranteed.
WORKSHOP CANCELLATION
Nick Selway Photography LLC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop due to insufficient enrollment, emergencies, severe weather, unsafe conditions, natural disasters, government restrictions, or other circumstances that make operating the workshop impractical or unsafe.
If Nick Selway Photography LLC cancels a workshop, participants may choose to transfer workshop fees paid to another available workshop or receive a refund of workshop fees paid.
Nick Selway Photography LLC is not responsible for airfare, rental cars, additional lodging, transportation, or other travel-related expenses incurred by participants.
For this reason, travel insurance is strongly recommended, including coverage for trip cancellation, interruption, medical emergencies, and other non-refundable travel expenses.
ATTENDANCE
Participants are responsible for arriving on time and prepared for scheduled workshop activities.
Because photography conditions can change quickly, daily schedules and shooting times may be adjusted throughout the workshop to take advantage of the best available light, weather, wildlife, or environmental conditions.
PHOTOGRAPHY EQUIPMENT
Participants are responsible for bringing and caring for their own photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, tripods, memory cards, batteries, computers, accessories, and personal belongings.
Recommended equipment information will be provided on the individual workshop page or before the workshop begins.
Nick Selway Photography LLC is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged photography equipment or personal property.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK & LIABILITY
Photography workshops may involve inherent risks associated with outdoor activities, including hiking, uneven or slippery terrain, wildlife, ocean conditions, changing weather, heat, cold, altitude, transportation, and other natural hazards.
By participating, you acknowledge and voluntarily accept the risks associated with these activities.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release and hold harmless Nick Selway Photography LLC, its owners, instructors, guides, contractors, and affiliated parties from claims arising from personal injury, property loss, equipment damage, or other losses associated with participation in the workshop, except where liability cannot legally be waived.
PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITY
Participants are responsible for determining whether they are physically capable of participating in the activities described for their chosen workshop.
Please review the activity level and physical requirements listed on the individual workshop page before registering.
CODE OF CONDUCT
We want every workshop to be a fun, relaxed, safe, and respectful experience.
Participants agree to behave respectfully toward instructors, other participants, local communities, wildlife, property owners, and the natural environment.
Nick Selway Photography LLC reserves the right to remove a participant from a workshop for behavior that is unsafe, disruptive, threatening, illegal, or substantially interferes with the experience of other participants. Refunds are not guaranteed in these circumstances.
AGREEMENT
By completing your registration and checking the agreement box on the workshop registration page, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Photography Workshop Terms & Conditions.
Your registration and payment constitute your acceptance of these terms.
